Stephen H. Klunk, CPA, specializes in personal and corporate tax, estate planning, and corporate sales and acquisitions. He has an innate ability to interpret complex tax law and present findings in clear and concise terms. He is also skilled in guiding clients with proper corporate structuring, advantageous entity selection and formation, and assisting them with complex tax considerations in dealing with hedge transactions.
Steve’s experience with sales and acquisitions includes transactions ranging in size from a million dollars to several hundred million dollars. In this discipline, he combines his analytical strengths with research-based technical guidance to ensure his clients benefit from a well-structured and tax efficient solution.
Education and Professional Development
A native of Hanover, Steve graduated from Duquesne University, with a BS degree, cum laude, in Accounting.
Steve is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs. He is past President of the South Central Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs and served on the Council for the Pennsylvania Institute.
Community Involvement
During his career in York, Steve has been a member of various nonprofit boards including Self Help Counseling Center and the York County Community Foundation where he served as treasurer and board member. He was also a member of the Advisory Board of York Technical Institute. Currently he serves as Treasurer of the Board of Counselors for Rotary District 7390 and as Financial Vice President and Board member of the Rotary Club of York
