Lois Ribner, CPA

Experience

Lois J. Ribner, CPA, serves Stambaugh Ness as Operations Manager. Lois oversees the firm's scheduling and recruiting processes, and coordinates personnel and other daily operational issues in addition to serving her client needs. Her experience includes audits, tax, accounting services, litigation support and human resources.

 

Lois is also the HR Service Line Director and assists clients in employee searches.

 

Education and Professional Development

Lois received her BS degree in Accounting from the University of Michigan in 1988 where she received the Maize and Blue Award for scholastic achievement. She began her public accounting career in a large regional firm in Michigan. She moved to Pennsylvania in 1993 and joined Stambaugh Ness in 1995.

 

Lois is certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a member of the American and the Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.

 

Internally, Lois chairs the CPE Internal Training Team which coordinates the training of staff as well as monitoring the staff’s compliance with the professions’ continuing education requirements. Lois also serves on the Business Development Team which focuses on bringing new business to the firm.

 

Community Involvement

Lois served as the past Treasurer and Board member of YorkArts for six years. She continues to serve on the Finance Committee and the Personnel Search Committee of YorkArts. She also serves as a member of the Finance Committee of United Cerebral Palsy.
